Maya Fenderl focusses on the vase as a ceramic sculpture. In her ceramics, organic and geometric shapes and structures as well as rough, shiny and matt surfaces overlap to form a playful unity. The result is abstract, unique pieces - sculptures with a touch of absurdity and a moment of surprise.
