Antje Dienstbir primarily uses copper and silver for her objects, but also materials such as stoneware. Her work focuses on the transformation of a material on several levels. On the one hand on the concrete level of the surface into three-dimensionality, into the body, the vessel, and on the other hand on the level of materiality, whose properties are represented in the process of deformation and flow into the design.
The associated perception of surface, contour and colourfulness creates spaces of expression and reconsideration.
