In my studio I make vessels for everyday use from silver, bronze and the brass alloy tombac. Simplicity and the interplay of form, material and function are essential to my work. The use of traditional silversmithing techniques enables me to work with high precision. Shapes, curves, details can be designed very finely. Tension can be created in a subtle way. The functional aspect is an important part of my work. Even a vase with a decorative character should be suitable in size and shape for flowers. Utility objects such as mugs or pepper mills become small, moving sculptures on the table. Beauty brings joy into our lives. That's why I love to create objects for everyday life by playing with shapes, aesthetics and functionality.
