Jan Wege has always been fascinated by industrial systems and functional buildings that have their own aesthetic. He skillfully uses these as a source of inspiration for his silversmith works, which he produces not only in silver, but also in tombac or iron. His seemingly archaic objects captivate with playful details that break up the initial straightforwardness. Although Jan Wege's works have a strong sculptural character, they are designed for everyday use.
