Onka Allmayer-Beck moves clay. The Viennese artist has found a strong formal language in ceramics with a high recognition value. Proportions, movement and color are important to her; her objects are unique, small personalities. Particular attention is paid to the fact that the ceramics can function as objects in their own right, but also as centerpieces, vases or candlesticks. Each object is handmade, Allmayer-Beck wants to dust off the somewhat forgotten term 'arts and crafts' through her work and make it acceptable again.
