Weaving as a metaphor for the identity and national heritage of my country Iran is my greatest source of inspiration. I twist and connect the threads together, like old memories embedded in my mind. The individual fragments become a complex whole by interpenetrating each other. Dusty and rusty layers of concrete bind them together, structuring and strengthening the fragile body of the work.
