Point, line, surface and geometric rhythm: my work is basically a form of a classical vessel or cylinder that I work on a turntable. There is a fine pattern of lines on the surface. The patterns are arranged in a geometric order.
Vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines form a geometric rhythm. Ordinary classical shapes no longer look simple because of this rhythm. The line patterns seem complicated, but they maintain order through numerical control of angle and length.
