Hiroyuki Murase, the fifth generation son of a Shibori artisan family from Japan, moved to Europe at the age of 20 to study art. It was only there that he realized the value of the craft and decided to continue the family business and use the traditional Shibori craft in a modern context to preserve this technique. For 15 years now, Hiroyuki Murase has continued the tradition, reinterpreting the techniques year after year with new patterns, color combinations and carefully selected materials such as the finest cashmere.
