I am working on the topic of stone upcycling. Working in the stone sector, you see how much of this valuable material is wasted in every company. The jewellery industry is the biggest consumer of gemstones, which are selected to be of the highest quality. Stones with natural features like inclusions are classified as unqualified or rejects. Constantly encountering this sad story, I came up with the idea of collecting the waste from different gemstone workshops or artists and giving them a second chance to show their beauty again.
