For a long time, candlesticks have been the central theme of my preoccupation with modern everyday utensils. I am just as interested in the examination of bi-neric, sculptural aspects as I am in the functionality of the objects. I create both individual pieces and small series. In addition to traditional handicraft techniques, I also use industrial production methods such as laser cutting and coloured powder coating. Steel, stainless steel and bronze are my favourite materials.
