The whole project is originally influenced by the idea of "bricolage" proposed by the French anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss in his research on mythologies. I work in a similar way to how mythologies have been put together in different civilisations. It's about working deviously with what you have at hand and substituting functionalities from existing elements: like machines, tools and (leftover) materials, etc. In this way, this method of working contextualises the environment around me. Moreover, the finished works can also express themselves with subtle narratives from the distances within composed relationships.
